    I feel fancy

    I wanted something similar to a French press but with a filter for ease of cleaning. The Chemex is fantastic for that. I chose the glass handle, again, for ease of cleaning. The coffee is very pure - no grounds at all remain in the end product. I feel like I’m at a fancy coffee shop with each cup.

    A little morning zen

    I was looking for an alternative to press pot coffee and Chemex fits the bill. The resulting pour over coffee is clean and delicious. It provides a nice opportunity for an intentional slow living moment during the day.

    I've used the glass-handled Chemex for over 2 years now, and it's great for my coffee snob guests. I have to be careful to pour water just before it starts boiling so I don't burn the grounds β€” otherwise, perfect way to make coffee!

    My favorite thing about the Chemex brewer is that you have very few variables involved when it comes to the brew process, so the chances of making an excellent cup every time is nearly 100%! Plus, it's beautiful and can proudly live on the counter top when not in use.
